Ahmed’s Story
Ahmed, an eight-year-old pupil at St Paul’s Primary School who is learning English, is the first member of his family to be born in the UK. Living with cerebral palsy, which affects his mobility in both his legs and arms, he often finds everyday tasks painful and tiring while also navigating the challenges of a new language.
Alys' Story
After the pandemic, Alys struggled with severe anxiety that made leaving the house a major challenge. Today, she attends classes regularly and enjoys girls’ futsal—something she once thought impossible after years of isolation from her peers.
Evan's story
Traditional school settings had failed to engage Evan, but since joining the the Foundation, his outlook has changed. Launched in partnership with Cardiff and Vale College, the Junior Apprenticeship programme offers 14–16-year-olds the chance to gain skills and qualifications in football and sports-related industries.

Grace's story
In high school, Grace struggled with motivation to engage in her subjects and complete her work, resulting in a lack of routine and low self-esteem. Seeking a different path, Grace saw the Community Foundation as an opportunity to blend her love of football with her studies.
Empowering Women Through Fit Bluebirds
Cardiff City FC Community Foundation partnered with Women’s Connect First to create a women's-only private Fit Bluebirds session designed to provide a safe, welcoming space where participants could get fit, build friendships, and support each other in their health and wellness journeys.
