Hyfforddeiaeth
Back in the Game is a post-16 vocational re-engagement pathway delivered in partnership with Coleg y Cymoedd, providing 16–18 year-olds with a supportive route back into education.
The Back in the Game programme is a vocational sport pathway that offers the perfect balance between classroom-based learning and practical activities. Delivered on a part-time basis at the Aberdare Campus in partnership with Coleg y Cymoedd, the course is designed for learners aged 16–18 with a passion for sport, fitness and hands-on learning.
This unique pathway is ideal for young people who have become disengaged from education and provides a gentle, flexible re-entry into learning. With a strong focus on wellbeing, the programme supports learners to consider and map out future routes in sport, coaching or fitness.
The course combines study and personal enrichment in a supportive and active setting. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment where every student can thrive, offering smaller class sizes to help learners work towards qualifications at a pace that suits them.
Our dedicated tutors work closely with each learner to understand their individual needs, supporting progression into further education, apprenticeships or employment.
