Local young people to represent Cardiff City FC Community Foundation in Premier League Kicks Cup
21 Tachwedd 2022
Cardiff City FC Foundation and the Premier League are celebrating the fourth season of its secondary school education programme, Premier League Inspires.
Since Premier League Inspires was launched in 2019, we’ve supported over XXX young people through classroom, physical education, and social action sessions alongside relevant workshops in secondary schools across Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, and Rhondda Cynon Taff.

Premier League Inspires creates life-changing opportunities for young people who have been identified by their schools as needing extra support to engage with activities; helping them to develop the personal skills and positive attitudes needed to succeed in life.
Using the power of football, the programme helps to prepare 11-25-year-olds for further education and employment through a series of face-to-face mentoring sessions, workshops, and social-action projects.
The Foundation’s Head of Education, Fiona Lott, said:
“Our Premier League Inspires delivery has supported so many young people in our communities to achieve their full potential and get their education back on track.
“It’s so important that we continue to work with our partner schools and any other schools that may be interested in the project to give pupils access to more opportunities to develop their skills ready for later life. A huge thank you to the Premier League Charitable Fund for their continued support.”
Secondary schools who may be interested in this project can express an interest via the form below.
