Young people promoting gender equality through the Premier League Inspires Challenge
10 Medi 2024
The week was filled with enthusiasm as learners engaged in both classroom and on-pitch activities. Icebreaker exercises also helped students connect with each other. During the induction, students received official Cardiff City FC Community Foundation kits, proudly representing the Cardiff City FC badge.
Students showcased their abilities in a friendly in-house futsal tournament, making full use of the three modern Futsal courts at the facility. These courts are also where some students have the opportunity to represent Cardiff City FC in the Association of Colleges Futsal League and The FAW Futsal League.
A highlight of the induction week was the introduction to futsal, a fast-paced, small-sided football game that hones technical skills under pressure.
We're proud to offer unique BTEC Sport courses, blending the use of theoretical and practical learning, ensuring that each student's journey is tailored to develop essential life skills. The Community Foundation is excited to embark on this journey with the new students and help them develop game changing life skills that will set them up for success.
For those still undecided about their next steps after receiving their results, Cardiff City House of Sport offers a chance to gain industry-leading experience right on Cardiff City FC's doorstep. There are still places available in our Level 2 & 3 courses.
