Cardiff City FC players make special hospital visits as part of annual gift delivery supported by Kayes of Cardiff.
This festive season, Cardiff City FC and Cardiff City FC Community Foundation are spreading joy to children and families across Cardiff.
Thanks to a generous annual donation of toys from Kayes of Cardiff the club, and its official charity, continue their mission to support disadvantaged communities during the Christmas period.
On Thursday, 19th December, members of Cardiff City FC Men’s First Team, split their time visiting Ty Hafan, Noah’s Ark at UHW, and Rookwood hospitals, delivering toys and spending time with children. During these annual visits, players will hand-deliver toys and spend time with children, brightening what can be a challenging time for many families.
In the lead-up to the hospital visits, students and tutors from Cardiff City FC Community Foundation’s further and higher education programmes joined First Team players Kion Etete and Andy Rinomhota to carefully wrap the donated gifts, ensuring they were ready to bring smiles to children and families.
During the last week of term, Community Foundation staff have been delivering toys to schools participating in the Premier League Primary Stars programme, which uses football to inspire young learners, develop essential life skills, and promote physical activity.
