Cardiff City FC Community Foundation is delighted to announce that Willis Construction has renewed their charity partnership for another year. This continuation marks a significant milestone in a collaboration that has delivered real impact for communities across South Wales.
Willis Construction, a leading Welsh contractor established in 1986, shares the Community Foundation’s commitment to creating better futures. As it approaches its fortieth year, the company remains focused on delivering high-quality construction projects that leave a positive legacy, ensuring that social value remains central to its approach.
Since the partnership began in 2024, Willis Construction has demonstrated their commitment through meaningful community engagement. Their connections in the housing and construction sectors have helped the Community Foundation reach more people, while their team's enthusiasm for fundraising challenges - including our Cardiff City Stadium abseil, 5K-a-day virtual challenge and a corporate five-a-side tournament - has raised vital funds for life-changing programmes.
This partnership renewal will enable the Community Foundation to continue delivering impactful projects that improve health and wellbeing, support learning and skills, and build stronger communities throughout South Wales.
Zac Lyndon Jones, Interim Director of Cardiff City FC Community Foundation, said:
"We're really pleased that Willis Construction has chosen to continue this partnership. Over the past year, they've shown what collaboration truly looks like. Their team hasn't just supported us financially, they've helped us reach people in new ways through their network, and their staff have genuinely bought into what we're doing.
This kind of partnership, where everyone's working together towards the same goals, is exactly what helps us change lives and transform communities. We're looking forward to building on what we've achieved together."
Emma Lewis, Business Development Manager at Willis Construction added:
"We’re proud to renew our partnership with Cardiff City FC Community Foundation and to be part of their wider squad making a difference throughout South Wales. As we enter our second season, we’re continuing to build on a genuine relationship rooted in shared values — with our commitment to creating social value aligning closely with the Foundation’s incredible education, community, and wellbeing initiatives.
Working with their passionate and dedicated team is always inspiring, and together we’ll continue to change lives, transform communities, and build a brighter tomorrow."
By partnering with Cardiff City FC's official charity is a powerful way for your business to give back, engage your team, and support your community.
