Premier League supports Cardiff City FC Community Foundation to give free books to local primary school pupils
02 Rhagfyr 2025
Cardiff City FC Community Foundation recently learned that its current storage facilities would no longer be available from January. Fortunately, Pink Storage Cardiff, an independent provider, quickly stepped in to offer essential support.
Cardiff City FC Community Foundation is the official charity of Cardiff City FC and delivers a wide range of initiatives to achieve its hat-trick of goals: improving health and wellbeing, supporting learning and skills, and building stronger communities. These initiatives rely on essential kit and equipment being stored safely and accessed quickly, making the loss of their storage base a major operational challenge.
Pink Storage moved quickly to help, providing the charity with a secure 20ft ground-floor storage unit located just a four-minute walk from the charity’s base. The drive-up access and close proximity mean staff can reach equipment whenever needed, ensuring their programmes continue running smoothly across South Wales.
Catherine Angle, Head of Fundraising and External Engagement for the Cardiff City FC Community Foundation commented,
“What started as a difficult situation has now been turned around. Having to move out of our current storage facility could have created significant financial challenges and affected the vital work that we do, but thanks to Pink Storage’s quick support, we now have a safe, accessible, and local solution that allows us to continue without interruption.”
Scott Evans, CEO of Pink Storage, said,
“We jumped at the chance to support the CCFC Community Foundation at a time when they urgently needed a solution. Their work has a hugely positive impact across Cardiff and its surrounding areas, and providing a nearby, secure storage unit was a simple and practical way for us to help keep their endeavors moving without disruption.”
Cardiff City FC Community Foundation is proud to work with Pink Storage, a Cardiff-rooted organisation that remains committed to supporting initiatives making a real difference, locally.
By partnering with Cardiff City FC's official charity is a powerful way for your business to give back, engage your team, and support your community.
