Young people promoting gender equality through the Premier League Inspires Challenge
17 Rhagfyr 2024
In the fast-paced world of football, success comes with both passion and a strong knowledge base. We are proud to congratulate our university students who are studying for the Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching & Development and the BA Sports Business & Management Degree. With the support of the University of South Wales, they have successfully earned their FAW C Certificate, marking an exciting milestone in their development.
The FAW C Certificate is designed to educate candidates in the technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social requirements of modern football. Throughout the qualification, students have developed their ability to plan, prepare, deliver, and reflect on coaching sessions for the development of players.
The feedback received has been exceptional, highlighting the students' prowess in creativity, delivery, pitch setup, and coaching ability. This is a significant achievement that will enhance their coaching journey. While on placement, they will play a key role in helping us change lives and transform communities
As the festive season approaches and we wind down to enjoy time with our families, it’s also the perfect opportunity to reflect, recharge, and think about the future. At Cardiff City FC Community Foundation, we’re proud to offer exciting pathways for young people in further and higher education. Take a look at whats available for 2025/26 entry!
