Thousands of children in primary schools across South Wales will once again benefit from the support of the Cardiff City FC Foundation team this year.
Thanks to support from the Premier League Charitable Fund, our staff will be supporting children to learn, be active, and develop important life skills in the classroom, in the playground, and on the sports field.
Undoubtedly, many children’s learning and emotional, physical, and social well-being has been negatively affected by the pandemic.
That’s why we’re working closely with our partner schools to provide in-curricular and extra-curricular support for children, using the power of football as an engagement tool.
Foundation Director, Gavin Hawkey said:
"The last year and a half has been tough on us all, but none more so than children and young people.
"Thanks to the continued support from the Premier League Charitable Fund, we’re able to continue to work with teachers to support children to achieve their full potential."
We’re looking forward to working with all of our partner schools and children throughout the 2021/22 academic year!
