Welcome to the Sensory Room
Located at Cardiff City Stadium, our Sensory Room is a specially designed environment created for children and young people with additional sensory needs. Equipped with a range of sensory resources, it provides a safe, calming and engaging space to relax, explore and play.
Book a 45-Minute Visit
Thanks to funding from the Masonic Charitable Fund, the Sensory Room is available for 45-minute sessions every Wednesday throughout the 2026/27 season, giving families dedicated time to enjoy the space in a supportive environment.
Experience Matchday in Comfort
The Sensory Room is also available on Cardiff City matchdays, offering a more comfortable way for supporters with sensory needs to enjoy the excitement of the Bluebirds in a tailored environment.
How to book
The room is available for individual child bookings, family use, or small group bookings by schools and community groups.
45 minute time slots run from 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm on the following dates in 2026.
January - 14th, 21st, 28th
February - 4th, 11th, 25th
March - 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
April - 15th, 22nd, 29th
May - 6th, 13th, 20th,
June - 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
July - 1st, 8th, 15th

The Sensory Room has been developed with the generous cooperation of Cardiff City FC and Premier League Charitable Fund support. The artwork was designed by Rianne Rowlands and also had financial backing from Cardiff City Supporter’s Trust.
