Cardiff City FC Community Foundation is proud to announce our first ever Cardiff City FC Academy Ambassadors for the 2024/25 season.
We’re excited to welcome Dakarai Mafico and Corey Foggarty as our newest Ambassadors. Both players are committed to supporting the Community Foundation’s impactful work and engaging with our beneficiaries.
Dakarai joined the Academy at just 8 years old and recently signed his first professional contract. Known for his caring and compassionate nature, he’s always eager to help others.
Corey joined at 16 from Cambrian United, bringing a strong, hardworking spirit. He’s a fantastic presence among staff and players, always striving to be his best.
“I'm really happy to be given the chance to become the Academy’s Community Foundation ambassador. I want to make a change in the community and put smiles on people’s faces.”
“I am excited to be an ambassador for the Community Foundation and can’t wait to work with the local community. Hopefully I can gain some new skills and improve on the ones I have already gained throughout my time at the club”.
Our new Ambassadors will use their skills and gain valuable experience across our health, education and outreach projects, helping to raise the profile of our life-changing programmes that make a difference in communities across South Wales.
The team at Cardiff City FC Community Foundation is grateful to our Academy Ambassadors for their support and looks forward to building stronger connections with Cardiff City Academy.
Together, we're changing the game.
