Premier League Primary Stars is an innovative project aiming to change the lives of primary school children through the power of sport.
Why the project is needed?
1/3 of children in Wales fail to meet the recommended amount of physical activity.
How did we help?
We delivered 2485 P.E and classroom based sessions to 72 primary schools across South Wales.
What are the results?
93% of participants told us they enjoyed P.E and sport lessons.
Premier League Primary Stars is a primary school programme that supports children to learn, be active and develop important life skills in the classroom, in the playground and on the sports field.
The project forms part of the Foundation’s Early Years and Primary Development programme and aims to deliver positive outcomes in the following areas:
Giving young children confidence, skills, and self-esteem
