Our volunteers help us create more opportunities for children, young people, adults and families across Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil, Bridgend and Caerphilly.
Whether you want to volunteer regularly, support a short programme or help at an occasional event, you will receive a clear role, a named contact and the support you need to get started.
Several members of our team began their journey with the Community Foundation as volunteers. It can be a great way to gain experience, build confidence, meet new people and make a positive difference in your local community.
WAYS TO VOLUNTEER
Programme Delivery Support
Work alongside Community Foundation staff to help people feel welcomed, encouraged and included.
Opportunities may be available across our education, youth, football, employability, health and wellbeing services. These include Premier League Primary Stars, Premier League Inspires, Premier League Kicks, Inclusive Kicks, FIT Bluebirds, the Veterans Hub and the 1927 Club.
You could help by:
- Welcoming participants
- Preparing equipment and activities
- Encouraging people to take part
- Supporting delivery
- Helping everyone feel included
- Collecting feedback
These opportunities may involve a regular weekly commitment or a short block of delivery.
Events and Fundraising
