Cardiff City FC Foundation is expanding our Traineeship offer to support even more young people with education and employment opportunities.
The project, which will see young people study and working towards completing a BTEC Level One qualification in Sport, is expanding to Caerphilly Leisure Centre and will begin on 28th February 2022.
Our Traineeship course allows young people aged 16-19 to take part in practical activities alongside their studies - achieving qualifications, building knowledge and developing skills that are needed to work in the sport and leisure sector.
Tia is one of many learners whose educational journey got back on track through our Traineeship project, she’s now on track to study at University in September.
The Foundation’s Head of Education & Training, Fiona Lott said:
“We strive to improve life chances for young people by supporting them with high quality education and employment opportunities. This new site in Caerphilly will allow us to continue our support for young people and give them a platform to re-ignite their educational journey.”
