Celebrating Our Impact at Cardiff City Stadium
Our celebration also gave us the opportunity to release our 2022/23 Impact Report - a document that showcases the work we've been doing across Cardiff City FC communities and the stories behind it.
05 April 2022
Will Vaulks and Seren Watkins have been named as Cardiff City FC’s PFA Players in the Community for 2021/22.
The awards recognise the players commitment and support for Cardiff City FC Community Foundation’s work.
Watkins and Vaulks have been instrumental in supporting community activities throughout the season.
Speaking when receiving her award, Seren said:
"I’m delighted to be named as the PFA Community Champion, it’s been great to be able to meet the young people at the Foundation and I can’t wait to see more of the continued work in our communities.”
When receiving his award, Will said:
"I just want to say a massive thank you. It means a lot to be named the PFA Community Champion, I enjoy giving back to the community and it’s the least we can do as footballers. Long may it continue.”
First team players play an important role in unlocking the power of Cardiff City FC to make a difference in our communities.
Foundation Director, Gavin Hawkey, said:
“I’d like to personally thank both Seren and Will for their support of our work – they're role models for our beneficiaries and we look forward to welcoming them to more of our sessions in the future.”
