Cardiff City FC and Cardiff City FC Foundation have received the 'Centre of Excellence' award from Level Playing Field - a charity that champions equality for disabled sports fans across the U.K.
The Bluebirds are just one of five clubs across the Premier League and EFL to receive the award, which recognises the accessible services and facilities available to fans with a disability who attend fixtures at Cardiff City Stadium.
CCS sits alongside Wembley Stadium, The Etihad Stadium (Manchester City FC), Pride Park (Derby County FC), The American Express Community Stadium (Brighton & Hove Albion FC) and The Emirates Stadium (Arsenal FC) as the only football grounds to have reached this standard.

Cardiff City FC Foundation's ED&I Coordinator, Chris Foot said:
"We’re really pleased to have developed such a strong partnership with Cardiff City Fc's Disabled Supporters Association to improve matchday access for supporters at Cardiff City Stadium.
"Our Sensory Room and its’ facilities have allowed children with additional needs to access live football with their families for the first time. Level Playing Field’s recognition of this work along with Cardiff City Stadium's other excellent accessible offers is a great accolade."
The EFL's Head of EDI, David McArdle said:
“The EFL congratulates Cardiff City for receiving Level Playing Field’s prestigious Centre of Excellence Award, which is recognition for the high access and inclusion standards that have been embedded across the Club.
“A key aim of our Together EDI strategy mission is for EFL Clubs to provide a best-in-class provision for inclusive and welcoming opportunities in football, and Cardiff City’s provision for disabled supporters is an outstanding representation of the progress that is being made across the EFL, offering good practice examples from which others will benefit.”
