Cardiff City FC’s official charity has announced a new charity partnership with Liberata, supporting the Community Foundation’s work in South East Wales, contributing to important local health and wellbeing programmes, and helping to reach those most in need of their services.

Liberata is a managed services and business process provider, that has worked with both public and private sector organisations to run business-critical services for over 50 years.

With a hub in Cardiff, Liberata is committed to supporting local organisations and aligns closely with the Community Foundation's mission to improve the lives of children, young people and adults across Cardiff and the surrounding areas.

The new partnership with Liberata will further support the Community Foundation's Inclusive Kicks sessions, a disability football programme funded by the Premier League Foundation.

Premier League Kicks uses the power of football and sport to inspire young people to reach their potential in some of the highest need areas of England and Wales.

Through this new partnership, young people and families impacted by disability in our communities will continue to have access to vital programmes and opportunities that support their wellbeing, ensuring they have access to regular sport.

Liberata’s support will help Cardiff City FC Community Foundation to continue driving forward their hat-trick of goals: improving health and wellbeing, supporting learning and skills, and building stronger communities across Cardiff and beyond.

Andy Norris, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Liberata, said:

“We’re very excited at Liberata to have joined the Cardiff City family as a Community Partner. I recently attended the Annual Impact Celebration event, and it was inspiring and emotional to hear about the amazing work being done in the community, positively impacting individuals, groups and their families. We look forward to contributing, starting with the Inclusive Kicks programme and building from there.”

Zac Lyndon-Jones, CEO at the Community Foundation, said:

“We're delighted to welcome Liberata as a Community Partner. Their support will make a huge difference to the lives of the children, young people and families we work with. With a shared commitment to creating a positive impact in our communities, now and into the future, we're excited about what this partnership can achieve across South Wales.”
