During the summer break, Cardiff City FC Foundation hosted a free Soccer School for Foundation beneficiaries and junior Bluebirds at Cardiff City House of Sport.
In partnership with Princes Gate Mineral Water, over 60 children were given the opportunity to lace up their boots and take part in a fun day session with Foundation coaches.
Cardiff City first-team players Isaak Davies and Rubin Colwill were also on hand to surprise participants, giving them an insight into life on and off the pitch in a Q&A session, as well as signing autographs and posing for photographs.

Speaking at the event, Rubin said:
“It’s been a great day for everyone involved and to see the children getting out and staying active in the summer holidays is always positive.
“For Princes Gate to be supporting an event like this shows their commitment to the community and it’s a pleasure for me to come along a play a small part in it.”
Only 51% of children aged 3-17 across Wales take part in the recommended amount of physical activity – with activity levels of children with a disability within Wales are lower than that of their non-disabled peers.
The Foundation is striving to increase this percentage and provides opportunities for children and young people across Cardiff and South Wales Valleys to help them live healthier, more active lives.
