With the support of the DM Thomas Foundation, Cardiff City FC Foundation recently delivered two days of multi-sports activities to 40 children with disabilities from across South Wales.
Held in the Cardiff City House of Sport, the camps gave youngsters from the ages of 8 to 18 the opportunity to try their hand at hockey, netball, cricket and football.
Rachel Cornelius from the DM Thomas Foundation said:
“It is our absolute pleasure to work with Cardiff City FC Foundation and witness the work of this worthwhile charity and all the children having the time of their lives. I think we would all agree that the work Cardiff City FC Foundation does to support children and families in Wales is truly outstanding and makes the children feel so happy. We were delighted to be able to support this fantastic charity with a recent grant so they can help deliver fun and happiness to those who need it most.”
The participants were also surprised with a ticket each to Cardiff City’s home fixture against Sheffield Wednesday on 12th December.
