Cardiff City FC Foundation is hosting the annual Football League Kids Cup in partnership with New Directions Education.
The tournament, held at the brand new 3G facilities at Leckwith Stadium, will comprise of three qualifying stages on the 7th, 14th and 21st of January, with 32 teams on each day competing to win one of the 16 places in the Finals Day on 28th January.
With 96 primary schools in total from across South Wales taking part in the competition, four schools will automatically qualify for a spot in the finals, with the four best runners-up completing the final line-up.
The overall winners of the Cardiff heats will represent Cardiff City FC at Reading in the Regional Finals on 7th March, with the chance to gain a place in the National Finals, due to be held at Wembley Stadium in the run-up to the Championship play-off final.
