You may have noticed our fleet of branded vehicles that have taken to the roads of South Wales over the past few months! Well, with great thanks to Sytner Cardiff, the Foundation has been able to increase its mobility and delivery with sixteen brand new Minis that have been issued to our delivery staff.
The nine Mini Cooper Ds, seven Mini Countrymen and seven BMWs became accessible to the Foundation through a valuable deal with Sytner Cardiff that was agreed in October 2014. Ever since, Cardiff City FC Foundation has been able to increase awareness of its existence, whilst aiding its coaching staff and management to safely travel around South Wales.
Cardiff City FC Foundation CEO, Marc Cahill said:
“We are grateful for Sytner Cardiff’s extremely generous involvement in being able to provide our staff with a essential means of transport. 2015 is set to be a very busy year for all of us, with the Foundation set to have a positive impact on more young people than ever before.
Without Sytner’s generous partnership over our vehicles, this quite simply, would not be possible.”
Keith Farrell, Head of Business at Sytner Cardiff added:
“I had been looking for a suitable charitable organisation for probably 2 years, having had a partnership with the Football Club I was introduced to the Foundation. Marc Cahill sat down and explained the incredible work they do and the reach they have, engaging with some 75,000 people a year.
The argument to help became compelling and I am delighted that we managed to agree a deal which sees a lot of BMW and especially MINI out in the community with the team at the foundation.
I hope people take time to look at the Foundation’s work and how it touches a diversity of people from all walks of life, I am pleased our sponsorship helps deliver their work across South Wales.”
