Euro Commerical Van

7th June 2017

Cardiff City FC Foundation is delighted to welcome Euro Commercials as the Charity’s latest sponsor for the Men of Harlech Bike Challenge.

Euro Commercial is the official Mercedes-Benz Commercial dealer for South Wales. Thanks to an existing partnership deal secured in 2015, community coaches from Cardiff City FC Foundation have benefited from using a fleet of 13 fuel-efficient Citan 109 CDI long wheel based vans to visit hundreds of schools and other community venues throughout South Wales.

In support of the three-day event, Euro Commercials have loaned the charity a long wheel based Mercedez-Benz Sprinter which will be used as a support vehicle on the challenge, enabling bikes to be transported to Porthmadog ready for the 190-mile bike ride to Cardiff, facing climbs of over 10,000 feet.

Foundation Director Gavin Hawkey expressed his gratitude: “I’m delighted that Euro Commercials have once again partnered with the Foundation to support us in achieving our goals. The money raised from the event will be used to help the Foundation improve the outcomes for young people who are not in education, employment or training, by helping young people find work, education courses and ensure individuals are given progression opportunities.”
