After training as a systems analyst, Dave started his first business at the age of 25 with £13,000 he borrowed against his home. It was the start of an entrepreneurial journey, that has seen him launch, grow or sell more than 20 businesses. He still retains controlling interest in seven of them in sectors that cover printing, marketing, software, app development, property and consulting.

His latest venture is a revolutionary mastermind group process for small to medium business owners that will launch in both the UK and US.

A visionary and strategist, Dave enjoys starting, and working with others to start, new ventures from the ground up then handing them over to management teams to run day to day because they’re usually better at doing it (his words!)

Having learned many lessons along the way, both good and bad, Dave started looking for ways to help other business owners and in 2012 qualified as an IFC coach which then led to becoming certified in the US by the John Maxwell Team.

Dave’s been with the Foundation for almost two years and in 2014 became one of the founders of GlobalWelsh, a charitable initiative created to connect the Welsh diaspora who are spread all over the world.
