On Sunday, the 7th of June, Cardiff City’s Learning Disability team took part in the FAW’s National PAN Disability Football Festival, which featured teams from all over Wales. With two teams in competing in the festival, hopes were high that Cardiff City could do well in mid Wales.
It was a tough task for both Cardiff City sides, especially the A team who competed in the highest category of the competition for their very first time.
Unfortunately on the day, after being drawn against tough opponents, including the likes of Race Rovers and Merthy Town, the Bluebirds’ run in the competition was ended at the group stages.
Nonetheless, whilst speaking on the day, Disability & Health Assistant Manager, Josh Law said:
“Despite the results today, all the players have had fun and it’s been a great experience for them all. We would like to thank everyone at the FAW and the other teams in attendance for a fantastic day.”
